“Power” as an adjective. A “power breakfast,” “power lunch.” “Power broker.” “Power dressing" in a woman is a svelte suit. A “power trip” means an overly ambitious executive who is arrogantly seeking control. And then a “power tie," a yellow silk tie after Donald Trump. Oh, and a “power look" in which you’re told how to dress.
